SIERRA VISTA — The Sierra Vista Community Tennis Association (SVCTA) in coordination with the Kings Court Director of Tennis is sponsoring a professional level tennis exhibition on June 8 from 1-4 p.m. at the City Kings Court Tennis Center, 3514 Kings Court Drive, Sierra Vista. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

The exhibition hosts three one-hour events: a professional level one set match, a demonstration of the modern tennis stroke mechanics, and concludes with youth and adult tennis clinics for Sierra Vista and surrounding community youth and adult tennis enthusiasts who want to improve their tennis playing skills.

Lamine C. Bangoura will lead this exhibition. Mr. Bangoura played professional level of tennis, trained and boarded at Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy (currently IMG) in Bradenton, Florida and is the current owner of Intelligence & Excellence Tennis Academy in Tucson. Bangoura and another world class tennis player will play a one set tennis match for the first hour; the second hour will consist of modern tennis strokes demonstration by Lamine Bangoura, with up to date modern training of tennis mechanics; and the third hour will be another tennis clinic for both avid juniors and adults supervised by Lamine C. Bangoura with the help of several volunteer teaching tennis professionals.

This tennis exhibition offers both Sierra Vista and Cochise County residents the opportunity to see tennis players compete at the world class level in our community. Attendees planning to participate in the free tennis clinics following the modern stroke demonstration segment should wear tennis shoes and bring their tennis rackets. Drinking water will be available. For more information see www.facebook.com/SVCTA.
