Free track and field clinics at Bisbee High School

Bisbee High School track and field coaches are hosting free clinics, every Saturday this summer, for students from any area in eighth through 12th grade.

BISBEE — The Bisbee High School track and field coaches will hold free instructional clinics each Saturday for eighth- through 12th-graders each Saturday during the summer at Bisbee High School.

The sessions will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run until everyone is done. All area student-athletes are welcome to attend.

The main focus will be on field events — which include the pole vault, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus and javelin — hurdles and mechanics of starting out of the blocks.

Sessions will be run by the Bisbee High coaching staff: Walter Edge, Troy Puzzi, Travis Bishop, Mark Perez, Rebecca Perez and Ed Holly. Tombstone head coach Jake Winslow and state champions Tony Chavez and Lucy Chavez will be guest coaches.
