SIERRA VISTA — There are so many interesting things and places in Arizona, yet most people don't even know they’re there. So musician Dolan Ellis has put together a special show that’ll help people discover some of those places — they are "Right Under Yer Nose!"
As Arizona’s official state balladeer since 1966, no one is more qualified than Ellis to tell the story of Arizona. Along with his big-screen photography, songs and stories, attendees of the Arizona Folklore Preserve on Feb. 17 and 18 will be taken places they didn’t know existed.
Doors open at 1 p.m., with performances starting at 2 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults and $6 for children 17 and under.
The preserve is at 56 E. Folklore Trail in Hereford.
Coming soon: Upcoming performers at the Arizona Folklore Preserve will include Tucson bluegrass group Nick McBlaine and Log Train on Feb. 24 and 25 and Western Blues musician Hans Olson on March 3 and 4.
