BISBEE — The Central School Project (CSP), 43 Howell Ave., will hold a concert by Tucson’s Moxie Singers on Saturday, March 7.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 available at the door. Proceeds will benefit the CSP.
According to Laurie McKenna, CSP executive director, “Moxie Singers is an enthusiastic band of women dedicated to fun, energizing and authentic singing performances.”
The group started with a small core of friends who loved singing together and dreamed about creating a small, singing ensemble that would perform a little bit of everything, mostly a cappella, said McKenna.
“Moxie performs songs from the familiar to the obscure, sharing their hearts with each chord. Whether caroling in the early morning hours for a fast food business’ grand opening with Santa Claus, or at a fundraiser for “The Forgotten Children” at Armory Park, in the YMCA Gym, or in the Monastery as part of a three-day festival of Tucson choir ensembles, they are happy to entertain you! Moxie supports the local with a global heart,” noted McKenna.
