SIERRA VISTA — Gorgeous gowns and sharp suits ruled the runway at a glamorous fashion show on Saturday.
More than 200 people gathered at the Mall at Sierra Vista to watch 30 models showcase dazzling designs from Dillard’s, Vista Formal Wear and The Children’s Place.
The fashion show was part of the annual Prom & Bridal Fair, which also highlighted local vendors offering services for weddings and other special events.
“The mall was really pleased because it drew in a lot of people, and the vendors told me they got a lot out of it. I think all of them got new business,” event organizer Leah Griffin, owner of Vista Formal Wear, said.
Titia Lewis styled hair and make-up for 20 models in just a few hours to ensure everybody was runway ready.
“It would usually take me about 90 minutes just to do one client, so this was a busy day,” she said. “I tried to complement what the models were wearing and I think everything worked out well.”
