Brighten the Path

A group of Brighten the Path volunteers work on a recent trash cleanup project in Benson.

Brighten the Path, an all-volunteer trash cleanup project, is holding a “Day of Service” citywide event in Benson on Sept. 10.

“We are meeting at the large ramada in Lions Park, 435 N. Adams St., at 7 a.m. sharp,” said Pam Masters, one of the organizers. “This cleanup project is being dedicated to all first responders in recognition of their passion and commitment in times of need, and in remembrance of 9/11.”
