SIERRA VISTA — As part of grassroots, community efforts to keep the city’s west end beautiful, there will be a neighborhood clean up taking place this Saturday morning.

Volunteers are needed to make the Carmichael Neighborhood Cleanup a success and anyone who is interested in lending a helping hand this weekend is invited to meet up with the group.

The clean up starts at 8 a.m. in Len Roberts Park, located on 101 E Theater Dr., and will go until about 11 a.m.

Anyone who would like to participate should come with water, gloves, closed shoes, and other tools if they have them, like gas weed eaters, loppers, chainsaws, rakes and shovels. Trash bags will be provided.

This group does regular cleanups and their next one is scheduled for Aug. 10.

For more information, contact Bryant Sayers at 520-456-7172 or at carmichaelnrt@gmail.com.
