SIERRA VISTA — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and find a man who robbed the Circle K convenience store at 102 W. Fry Blvd. in Sierra Vista early Tuesday morning.

Described as a white or Hispanic male standing about 5 feet 3 inches tall and wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, dark cargo pants and hiking shoes, the man entered the store at about 3:32 a.m. with a black handgun and robbed the store, according to Sierra Vista police.

It wasn’t immediately clear how much money the man got away with, or if he also took other items. Sierra Vista Police Detective John Andela said nobody was injured in the incident. Andela said he was unable to disclose any more information about the case on Tuesday, but said police are hopeful someone will recognize the suspect by his clothing and reach out to police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to call Andela at 520-803-3555 and reference case number A19-23116. Callers may remain anonymous.
