SIERRA VISTA — Sierra Vista police arrested a second suspect in the Oct. 3 shooting on North Garden Avenue fueled by an altercation that ended in an exchange of gunfire which struck a nearby apartment building and convenience store.
Detectives identified Edwardo Roman, Jr., 23 of Tucson, as a second suspect in the shooting. Roman turned himself in after speaking with detectives late Tuesday afternoon and was arrested on charges of discharging a weapon at an occupied structure, aggravated assault, endangerment and drive-by shooting. He was also arrested for a warrant out of Pima County. Roman was booked into Cochise County Jail where he is being held on a $30,000 bond for the Sierra Vista charges. No bond has been set for the warrant out of Pima County.
