DOUGLAS — The Douglas Elks Lodge on 10th Street will be hosting its annual Flag Day ceremony on Monday, June 14 at 6 p.m.

The event will feature a presentation of the various U.S. flags over the years, their history and a recap as to why Americans celebrate Flag Day.

There will also be an opportunity for anyone who has old tattered flags that need to be disposed of to drop off those flags. The Elks will give them a proper disposal.

Monday’s ceremony is open to the public.
