Willcox Livestock Auction recently held its 36th Annual All Breed Bull Sale.
The Grand Champion Bull (Oso Negro 002) goes to Westall Ranches, from Arabela, N.M. and the Grand Champion Buckle was presented by Sally Robbs, to Ray Westall, Owner and Tate Pruett, Manager. The Bull was purchased by John Sullivan from Pima County’s Ranch for $3,600.
Tim and Barbara Jackson from Animal Health Express in Tucson, Ariz. donated a $100 gift certificate to the breeder of the Grand Champion Bull.
The Reserve Grand Champion Bull (Mr Cookies 1026) was won by Skaarer Brangus of Willcox, and the reserve champion buckle was presented by Scott McDaniel, Barbara Kay Shores and Kylie Shores to the Rick Skaarer Family, Rick Skaarer owner. The bull was purchased by Harold Lackner from Willcox.
Nancy Belt of Stockmen’s Realty presented a $50 gift certificate to Rick Skaarer, breeder of the Reserve Grand Champion Bull.
Both the buyers of the Grand and the Reserve Champion Bulls received bags of Cargill Nutra Beef Supplement from Sales Representative Angel Peraza, Casa Grande, Ariz.
The high selling bull, selling for $4,000, was consigned by Doug Dunlap of the 7 Lazy D Ranch, Willcox.
