GLENDALE—Grace Edith Loesch (Goosman) was born on August 25, 1926 and started life in Highland Park, Illinois. She was the youngest daughter of six children born to Charles and Gertrude Goosman. She passed away at age 96 in Glendale, Arizona on April 26, 2023.
The characteristic that spanned throughout her life was her faith. After marrying William Peter Loesch on March 17, 1945 at the age of 18, she took instruction in the Catholic faith. This proved to be the foundation for everything for the rest of her life.
Grace loved family, books, traveling, cooking and baking, at which she excelled. She also enjoyed playing slot machines and the occasional lottery. She will be remembered as sassy, forthright and full of humor. She will be missed by many and because she was a humble and unassuming woman, this would surprise her.
She is survived by her children: Grace White, Randall Loesch and Michael Loesch. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Luanne Kritzberg and her aforementioned husband.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30 am at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 Utopia Rd, Glendale AZ. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Our Lady of the Mountains in Sierra Vista, Arizona in the near future.
