Marjorie Garrett Paullin, 98
TUCSON — Marjorie Garrett Paullin died peacefully on July 6, 2020 at the age of 98, in Tucson, Arizona. Marjorie was born in Denver Colorado in 1922 and lived most of her life in Arizona. Marjorie was a 1941 graduate of Douglas High School. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Civer of Tucson, 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her son, Dan Robb Garrett died in 2000. Marjorie was a lifelong fitness and health buff.
Marjorie was happily married to Gerald Paullin, for 45 years and he preceded her in death in 2016. He was an explosive engineer with Apache Powder and a graduate of the University of Michigan. The Paullins lived in Scottsdale until 2012 and services will be there at a later time.
As a young mother, Marjorie was a telephone operator. In the late 50’s she sold Stauffer Home Reducing Machines and went on to become a National Training Director for the company. While living in Scottsdale, she owned an advertising agency. Marjorie loved to dance, loved Mexico and good music. She loved to cook delicious healthy food. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
