Norma Jeanne Lippincott, 76
SIERRA VISTA— Norma was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 8th, 1943. She attended Camas High School in Camas, Washington and graduated college at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. She has several Master’s degrees, including a Master’s in education, which she acquired overseas through Michigan State University while her husband was in the Air Force. In 1984, she became a Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) teacher and retired after spending over 20 years mostly teaching and inspiring 2nd-grade students. She spent most of her time stationed overseas in Asia and Europe with her husband Roger who is a retired Air Force air traffic controller. In 2006, she and her husband retired to Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Norma’s passion was reading; she would attend book club faithfully every Wednesday. She also enjoyed cooking recipes that she acquired while traveling the world. Norma enjoyed being creative and sharing her artistic talent.
Norma gracefully passed early morning on May 30th, 2019 after fighting cancer for over ten years. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Roger Lippincott; her son and his wife, David and Jackie Lippincott; her sister and her husband, Helen and Chuck; and her granddaughter and great-granddaughter, Skyler and Arya.
