BISBEE — William “Bill” Sullivan, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend, and teacher passed away in Tucson, Arizona on May 22, 2019, after a short illness. Bill was born in Cottonwood, Arizona on September 8, 1950, and lived most of his life in Bisbee, Arizona. He taught in the Naco and Bisbee School Districts for over 40 years, positively impacting the lives of many students. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Eileen (Riordan) Sullivan; and all four grandparents and several aunts and uncles on both the Sullivan and Riordan sides. He is survived by his uncles, John and Neil Riordan; brother, Jim (Sue); sisters, Teresa (Lou) and Sheila (Kelly); as well as his nieces and nephews, Megan (Ben) Mesches, Sean (Meagan) Sullivan, John (Kelly) Eberle, Tim Moeur, Brian (Carina) Sullivan, Caitlin Eberle, Molly Moeur; his great-nieces, Patty Sullivan, Nora Mesches, Ellen Sullivan and Morgan Eberle; great-nephew, Kyle Eberle; and numerous cousins. Bill touched the lives of many and leaves behind many good friends, especially Ken Olander, Katy Lusignan, Penelope Levario, and Helen Suby.
A funeral mass and memorial will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 100 Quality Hill, Bisbee, Arizona. A reception will immediately follow in the parish hall. Because Bill dedicated his life to the young people of Bisbee, Arizona, the family would appreciate donations to the Bisbee Boy’s & Girl’s Club, either by mail at P. O.
