William H. “Bill” Rose Jr., 77
EVERETT, WASHINGTON—William H. “Bill” Rose Jr., 77, resident of Sierra Vista, Arizona, passed away Monday, March 12, 2019, in Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, Washington. He was born in Canadaigua, New York.
He was the son of William Henry and Margaret Rose, and was preceded in death by brother Roger. Surviving siblings include Richard, and Nancy (Smith).
On February 14, 1961, in Fairbanks, Alaska, he married Susan Joann Slater. Susan Joann (Slater) Rose (72) was the daughter of Robert W. and Helen Adele Slater and she preceded her husband in death on March 4, 2016. She was the sister of Robert “Kody”, Steven, William “Bill”, and preceded in death by Thomas “Thom.”
Bill was a 23 year veteran of the United States Army, serving our country during the Korean War. Susan also worked for the United States Military as a civilian. They were members of the High Sierra Corvette Club, and Susan was a member of the Sierra Vista Riding Club.
Survivors include all of their children: Deborah J. Fish (Mel), William H. Rose III (Jill), Franklyn L. Rose, and Michael W. Rose (Jenn); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Services for Bill and Susan to be determined.
